Vorkosigan House (Vorkosigan Surleau) was the official residence of House Vorkosigan in Vorkosigan Surleau.

The current house was formerly a guard barracks for the original family home, which, by the time of Shards of Honor, was a burned-out castle on the cliffs behind the village of Vorkosigan Surleau. The house was a two-story, rambling building constructed from native stone that blended into the hill behind it. It had guest bedrooms on the second floor, and a terrace off the south end of the house by the kitchen.

Outside, there was a boat dock by the lake, and behind the house was a family graveyard and an outdoor pavilion suitable for meals. Further behind, beyond another hill, was a large collection of horse stables and pastures.

The family graveyard behind the house had recently-dead members of the Vorkosigan family (older members of the family had been buried in Vorkosigan Vashnoi, apparently) and retainers. Piotr Pierre Vorkosigan was buried in the Vorkosigan family cemetery here after he died; his wife Olivia Vorbarra Vorkosigan and his unnamed son and daughter (Aral Vorkosigan's brother and sister) were there as well. Konstantine Bothari and Amor Klyeuvi, both devoted retainers for the family, were laid to rest here as well. Another person so honored was Taura, of the Dendarii Free Mercenary Fleet.

While the Vorkosigan family maintained an official district residence in Hassadar, they were more likely to use Vorkosigan Surleau as a retreat or home during their times in the District.
