Just out of curiosity, should we split this article into two pages: One for Donna and one for Dono? Or should it just be sectioned differently? Westbrook (talk) 21:45, April 2, 2013 (UTC)

I'd vote for sectioned. There is only one person here, so I'm reluctant to have two articles. Still, I'd go with whatever you come up with - you've done plenty of very nice work so far.

Sigh. Not a surprise, I'd guess by now, but that was again me.

Generations[]

Here it is said that Dono and her sibbling Pierre were the children of Count Vorutyer, who was likely the son of Pierre Le Sanguinaire. This can't be as there is at least one generation missing. Pierre Le Sanguinaire married his daughter Piotr Pierre Vorkosigan father.
Lets say Dono is about fourty in the time A Civil Campaign not a complete decade older than Miles. Miles is around 32 years old. His grandfather died 16 years earlier, in the age of around 92. So Piotr was born est. 110 years before A Civil Campaign. Then even when Piotr parents were still young when Piotr was born, they where born 130 years before A Civil Campaign. So Pierre Le Sanguinaire son the following Count even when born in the late years of his father should have been 50 years dead before A Civil Campaign.
Or lets say it in short Le Sanguinaire can't be the grandfather of Dono and the greatgreatgrandfather of Miles. Greets Hauselfe StephenMS (talk) 10:51, May 5, 2016 (UTC)

I will tweak the ages you've given somewhat because I can add a few details: Miles is 31. His grandfather was closer to 98 than to 92 when he died -- 92 comes from a statement in The Vorkosigan Companion, but Lois has said that Piotr was late-nineties, and that age fits better into timelines (see Piotr_Timeline for discussion). She has not given an exact age for him.

I'll look around at some discussion of generations for Donna/Dono's family, and work out times. (It's morning before work and I can't my brain concentrate enough yet.) I think there might be another generation tucked in there, yes.
