Countess Olivia Koudelka Vorrutyer (koo-DEHL-kuh vor-RUT-yr) was the third daughter of Kou and Drou Koudelka, and the first of the replicator-born ones.
Olivia was generally shy and gentle; also, she liked to talk gossip and was good at tracing the links of gossip chains. She used to torment young officers along with her sister Martya and went to school with Tatya Vorkeres Vorbretten; she stayed loyal to her friend even when it was socially unacceptable to be associated with the infamous Ghembrettens.
Olivia met and fell in love with Dono Vorrutyer and helped him in his campaign to become the Count for Vorrutyer's District on Barrayar. This included some hand-to-hand combat and first-aid near the end of his campaign; she proved quite capable in these lines – she had probably been trained by her parents (in particular, her mother) in these methods. Olivia later attended the vote in the Council of Counts that confirmed Dono and reconfirmed René Vorbretten, as moral support for both Dono and Tatya, and she came to the Imperial Wedding as Dono's guest. The two later married and had at least one child.
Her marriage to Dono made her official title Countess Vorrutyer; in full, she was Countess Olivia Vorrutyer.
