Jump technology refers to two aspects of wormhole travel:
- Necklin rods and other machinery needed for performing a jump.
- Biotechology of jump sets for pilots. This took the visible form of three silver circles on the pilot's head: one in mid forehead and two on the temples. Many, many wires connected these circles to various parts of the pilot's brain. Pilots attached these circles to control headsets to perform the piloting of a ship; at this point, the ship would feel like it was an extension of their body.
