Escobarans were the citizens of the planet Escobar. They had a high-tech society, and viewed the Barrayaran Imperium as a bunch of violent, uncouth barbarians due to their war with Barrayar. During the beginning of Gregor's reign, they began crafting agreements with Barrayar to allow passage of military vessels under certain constraints.
