- 23rd Century CE
- Planet discovered, 50000 "Firsters" sent to spearhead a colonization. (Ref: "The Mountains of Mourning")
- Wormhole collapsed, the Firsters were stranded. (various references)
- 23rd Century - 29th Century CE: Time of Isolation
- The settlement of Vorbarr Sultana was very early in this time period; it may even have been an original site for the Firsters. (Ref: Mirror Dance, ch 14 – mentions first century Time of Isolation buildings in the Caravanserai)
- "Pilgrimage through the fire" (Ref: "The Mountains of Mourning")
- Mutagen disasters (Ref: Mirror Dance, ch 14)
- The Bloody Centuries, lasting between 200 and 300 years of time. (See Selig Vorkosigan and Time of Isolation)
- Emperors during this time included Xian Vorbarra and Vlad Vorbarra
